Biography

Jonas Wuermeling is a young German Singer (Tenor). He was musically trained in Augsburgs Cathedral Boys Choir. Later on he began studying in the Music Conservatory of Munich (HMTH) with Prof. Frieder Lang.  Now he is vocally and musically trained by the Italian Maestro Alessandro Luciano.

During his musical journey he was honoured to sing with world famous conductors like Kent Nagano, Sir, Neville Marriner, Marisa Jansons, Marie Jacquot, Paul Goodwin, Karl Heinz Steffens and many more. Early on he was lucky enough to be able to perform with Orchestras such as the Symphonie Orchestra Munich, Academy for old Music Berlin, State Philharmony Rheinland-Pfalz, London Symphony Orchestra.

Jonas is currently contracted with the Choir of the Deutsche Oper Berlin.

He wants to share his passion and love for music with everyone, especially the youth. By cofounding the group ´Die Oper` and `Tenoria` he created the possibility to deliver classical music mixed with many Genres to a broad young audience. The Group was allowed to sing for great audiences at Big Music Festivals like Puls Open Air or Maifeld Derby and as well as the first people to record an entire Album in the Vaticans St. Peters Church, Rome. The Group Tenoria is working on a full EP - that might be heard soon all over the world.
